Meeting this morning
Dear Ian
Further to the meeting this morning, I just want to
re-iterate that I was in no way criticising Marion Ryan and the support she
gives to the Service Centre.
However, I wanted to highlight a general point about
the level of expertise/experience differs and therefore this will impact on the
standard of financial analysis we receive. You concurred with this and explained
that previous cost reduction programmes had reduced the budgets within the
finance department and that this had an impact on your staffing complement.
The GM's want to work more closely with you and your
team - we need each other in order to deliver the targets and I think your
agreement to join us at future meetings will be most welcome.
