Request for a meeting
I would be grateful for a meeting to discuss the case of my
constituent, Ian Perkin, and how the Employment Tribunal acted in his case. I
enclose a copy of the judgement.
While I know you cannot change the decision, I am extremely
concerned about the way my constituent’s case has been dealt with, and I know
you will share these concerns when you learn about them in detail.
In brief, my concerns are as follows:
 | In the judgement, key parts of the written evidence have been changed from the source documents, with significant implications for the decision |
| Some of the opinions expressed by the Tribunal in its judgement seem perverse, e.g., that ACAS Code of Practice did not apply in his case |
| The time taken by the Tribunal was extremely long, and the reasons given for the delays extremely unconvincing |
I am therefore very anxious to meet you to explain the background and receive your advice on guidance about both the particular and general issues raised by this matter. I would of course like my constituent to join us.
