RE:
Cancelled Operations On The Day We
spent an hour of time on Saturday discussing this very issue and developed a
very clear action plan which we all signed up to. If we are to work cohesively
as an Ex group, we need to action decisions made and if we cannot resolve them
then its back to the Ex meeting on Mons. Its
so important that our staff see us
working as a team. It
was therefore disappointing to see this e-maill from Ian . Marie

Cancelled Operations On The Day Importance:
High Dear
Ian We
discussed this whole issue at our Saturday meeting and I
am therefore very disappointed that Ian P has chosen to send you the e-mail
below. We all agreed that the data being sent up the line must be accurate and the
reason for the change to the data over the last 2 weeks re cancelled Ops on the
day, is that we are pre cancelling patients but they are not being removed from
PAS as it causes Jenny Jones a
problem with her needing a schedule of patients who could be admitted each day.
I
would request that you consider whether the existing reporting arrangements for
the Information Dept make sense as part of our new management structure. It
would have been much more helpful for Ian to resolve the PAS problem which is
what he agreed to do at our meeting. I have also attached our letter detailing what had been agreed last Saturday. << File: Ian H letter.doc >> John
