In January 2003 I was interviewed by Liz Barclay on the You and Yours Radio Four programme. The really interesting point about this interview was that when the BBC approached St George's NHS Trust about the cancelled operations issue they told You and Yours that the reason that the figures for cancelled operations were not accurately reported because their were conflicting numbers being reported by the Information Manager and Hospital Bed Managers, an assertion that was later withdrawn during the Employment Tribunal proceedings, when it was admitted that I had made a protected disclosure, but that this was unrelated to my dismissal which took place several months later.
